We utilise industry leading Microsoft 365 Enterprise for Non-Profits platform for our email, document storage, collaboration and online conferencing tools. With the features that Microsoft 365 provides, we’re eager as a County to expand the platform to our volunteers.
Communications and Data
Outlook (Web) – email, address book and calendar.
Shared mailboxes – accessing an allocated Team or Role mailbox.
Teams – group document storage plus instant Messaging, Calls, Video Conferencing and integration with SharePoint, Planner, Forms and more.
OneDrive – 1TB of cloud storage to securely store scout documents.
Forms – securely collect data, surveys, forms.
Sway – produce interactive newsletters and presentations.
Other Tools
Word, Excel and PowerPoint – web versions of the core office productivity tools,
Planner – Kanban (think Trello style) project management software.
Power Automate – automate processes and data without code.
Copilot – AI tool to help with writing documents and planning programmes.

Multi Factor Authentication
Our Office 365 platform requires the use of Multi Factor Authentication (MFA). This provides an additional layer of security when signing into the platform. Details of how to setup Multi Factor Authentication can be found at Multi Factor Authentication
Other Digital Tools
As well a a range of TSA digital tools, for group/section management and communicating with parents we can supply licences free of charge for Online Scout Manager.

Youth Member Records
Online Scout Manager provide a system to mange membership, programmes, communications and badges for our youth members. OSM also provide a series of helpful videos on how best to use the system

Managed by the Digital and Media Team to promote and support Scouting in West Sussex.
